The People of Capital Interfaith Hospitality Network -- Helping Homeless Families in NW Washington, DC


		Capital Interfaith Hospitality Network (CIHN) relies on a small, dedicated staff as well as hundreds of volunteers. [more > about and how to volunteer] OUR BOARD. A 12-member board made up of representatives from our Network of congregations and associations governs CIHN. Board members generally sit for at least one year. Each brings to the table suggestions from his or her congregation as to how we can best fulfill our mission. [more > our mission] OUR CONGREGATIONS & ASSOCIATIONS. CIHN employs one part-time Director and two overnight staffers: CIHN DIRECTOR SHAYNA HADLEY Shayna Hadley joined CIHN in January 2008 and works part-time. She oversees day to day operations of the shelter as well as fundraising efforts; she also recruits new congregations and volunteers. Shayna had a Masters in Social Work and more than 7 years experience managing social service programs, most recently she worked as Program Director of the Montgomery County Hotline in Maryland.
